The free trial is the full application. Install it on the Windows computer at your counter, make real bills for 15 days or 50 bills, and decide after that.

What the computer needs
- Windows
- 64-bit Windows 10 or Windows 11
- Disk space
- About 400 MB free, plus room for your backups
- Download
- About 155 MB, once. Later updates are smaller.
- Permissions
- No administrator password. It installs for the Windows user who runs it.
- Printer
- The bill is laid out for 80 mm thermal receipt paper. It prints through the normal Windows print dialog.
- Internet
- Needed to download and to receive updates. Billing works without it.

Why these warnings appear. Windows and the browser show them for programs that Microsoft has not yet seen installed on many computers. They are not virus warnings. Only run an AgroPay installer that you downloaded from this page or that we sent you on WhatsApp.
Updates happen by themselves
Each time AgroPay opens, it checks for a newer version in the background. When one has downloaded, a small bar asks you to restart AgroPay to finish. Your data is not touched by an update.
If the installer will not start
Close AgroPay if it is already open, because the installer refuses to run over a running copy. If antivirus software blocks the file, allow it for AgroPay-win-Setup.exe, or message us with a photo of the message.

What computer do I need?
A 64-bit Windows 10 or Windows 11 computer or laptop. The installer is about 155 MB and needs no administrator password. For printed bills, an 80 mm thermal receipt printer is the natural fit.
Does AgroPay work without internet?
Yes. Billing, stock, khata, GST reports, accounts and backups all run on your own computer with no connection.
You need internet only for things that are online by nature: downloading updates, opening a customer's chat in WhatsApp, and fetching weather for WhatsApp messages.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. The complete application is free for 15 days or your first 50 bills, whichever comes first. No card and no payment details are asked for.
Everything you enter during the trial stays when you activate, so the bills you made in the trial are still there afterwards.
Can I use AgroPay on two computers or two counters?
One licence runs on one computer. AgroPay does not yet share one set of books across several computers on a network, so a shop with two billing counters would need to keep them as separate shops. Talk to us before you buy if you bill from more than one computer.
Where is my data kept, and is it safe?
Your bills, customers, stock and accounts are stored on your own computer. They are not uploaded to us and we cannot see them.
AgroPay can back up automatically every day, week or month to a folder you choose, such as a pen drive, and keep the last 5, 10, 20 or 30 copies. Restoring asks you to type RESTORE, checks that the file is a genuine AgroPay backup, warns you if it belongs to a different shop, and saves a safety copy of your current data first. There is no cloud backup, so keep a copy away from the shop computer.
