Terms of Use
Last updated: 13 September 2026
1. Agreement
These terms apply when you download, install or use the AgroPay software or this website. By using AgroPay you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the software.
2. Licence
We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use AgroPay to run your own shop's business, for as long as your licence or trial is active.
- A licence is activated for one computer. If you need AgroPay on another machine, contact us.
- You may not copy, resell, rent, sub-licence or redistribute the software, except as an authorised AgroPay dealer under a separate arrangement with us.
- You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to defeat the licensing or activation mechanism.
- The AgroPay name, logo, design and software remain our property. Your business data remains entirely yours.
3. Free trial
AgroPay includes a free trial of 15 days or your first 50 bills, whichever finishes first, available once per computer. The trial gives you the complete application with no payment and no card details. When the trial ends you need an active licence to continue creating bills. Everything you entered during the trial stays on your computer and remains available once you activate.
4. Fees
- The first year is ₹10,000. Renewal after the first year is ₹3,500 per year.
- Fees are payable in advance for the period you choose.
- We may change our prices. Any change applies to your next renewal, never to a period you have already paid for, and we will tell you before it takes effect.
- If a licence lapses, the software stops allowing new sale and purchase bills. Your existing data is not deleted and your records remain readable.
5. Your responsibilities
- Accuracy. AgroPay calculates from what you enter. Correct product details, GST rates, HSN codes, prices, opening balances and licence numbers are your responsibility, including rates supplied in the starter product list, which you should confirm for your products.
- Compliance and filing. AgroPay prepares GST return files, a pesticide register and other records, but it does not file anything on your behalf. Filing returns, meeting deadlines and complying with GST law, the Insecticides Act and Rules, and any other law that applies to your shop remain your responsibility. We recommend your accountant reviews your returns.
- Backups. AgroPay provides manual and scheduled backups. Taking those backups and keeping a copy somewhere safe is your responsibility. We cannot recover data lost to a failed disk, a lost or stolen computer, ransomware or accidental deletion, because we do not hold a copy.
- WhatsApp. Messages you send through AgroPay go from your own WhatsApp account and are subject to WhatsApp's terms. Linked-device sending is not an official WhatsApp business service and WhatsApp may restrict a number that recipients report. Send only messages your customers expect, and honour opt-out requests.
- Access. Keep your login password private and change it from the first-time password. You are responsible for what is done through your shop's user accounts.
6. Updates
AgroPay updates itself automatically so that you are on the current version, with fixes and improvements included while your licence is active. From time to time we may change, add or remove features to improve the product.
7. Support
Support is included with an active licence and is provided on WhatsApp, phone and email during normal working hours, in English, Marathi, Hindi and Kannada. We help you set up your shop and move existing data across when you begin.
8. What we do not promise
AgroPay is provided on an "as is" basis. We work hard to make it correct and reliable, but we do not warrant that it will be free of every error or available without interruption. We are not responsible for any loss of profit, loss of business, loss of data, tax demand, penalty or other indirect loss arising from your use of the software. Where liability cannot be excluded by law, our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
9. Ending the agreement
You may stop using AgroPay at any time by not renewing. Your data stays on your computer and you can keep, export or delete it as you wish. We may suspend or end a licence if these terms are seriously or repeatedly breached, for example if the software is copied or the activation mechanism is tampered with.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The current version is always on this page with the date it was last changed. If a change is significant, we will mention it on the website.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Kolhapur, Maharashtra will have jurisdiction over any dispute.
