MRP-inclusive, done right
The GST inside the MRP is backed out per line and rounded to paise, so a bill for 12 bags matches to the paisa what the screen showed.
Grades found the quick way
Type 102626 or 202020 and the right grade comes up. Punctuation and spaces are ignored.
Credit till harvest
Part payment goes on the khata by itself. Ageing shows whose dues crossed 90 days before the next season's credit.
Licence reminder
Save the fertilizer licence number and expiry date. It prints on fertilizer bills and warns you 90 days before renewal.
Profit that counts the cost
Daily profit uses what each bag actually cost you, so thin-margin items do not hide behind the sales total.
Questions about this
Does AgroPay replace the government fertilizer PoS machine?
No. AgroPay does not connect to the Aadhaar-based ePoS machine used for subsidised fertilizer sales, and that sale still has to be recorded there. AgroPay keeps the GST bill, stock, khata and accounts for your shop, including the pesticides, seeds and other items the PoS machine does not handle.
Do I have to type in all my products?
No. AgroPay ships with 695 common products (186 seeds, 165 fertilizers, 219 pesticides and 125 other items) with HSN codes and GST rates filled in. You tick the ones your shop sells.
You can also import a product sheet saved from Excel as CSV, with every row checked before anything is saved, or scan a supplier's bill from a photo or PDF when stock arrives.
Does AgroPay work without internet?
Yes. Billing, stock, khata, GST reports, accounts and backups all run on your own computer with no connection.
You need internet only for things that are online by nature: downloading updates, opening a customer's chat in WhatsApp, and fetching weather for WhatsApp messages.
