Credit and khata
Every farmer's credit, down to the last rupee
A credit bill goes on the farmer's khata the moment you save it. Receipts come off it. The ageing report shows who has owed you the longest, so collection starts with the right names.
Credit that writes itself down
Choose Credit and enter what the farmer paid now, or pay Cash and take less than the total. Either way the unpaid part lands on that customer's khata with the bill number. At the counter the customer search shows what each person already owes, so you know before you extend more.
Search finds customers by name, mobile, Marathi name or village. A new credit customer is created from the bill itself when you type the name and mobile.
The ledger a farmer can read
Open Khata / Ledger for any customer and you see "Goods given", "Received" and the running "Balance", line by line, ready to print and hand over. Suppliers have the same ledger for what you owe them, and a supplier overpayment is kept as an advance instead of disappearing.
Ageing tells you whom to call first
Outstanding and Ageing splits every rupee owed into 0-30, 31-60, 61-90 and over 90 days, per customer or per bill. Receipts are applied to the oldest bills first, the way a shopkeeper actually thinks about it. Old dues from your paper khata book are entered as opening balances and aged from the day you started on AgroPay.
Reminders without awkward phone calls
AgroPay's WhatsApp Marketing has a ready-made khata balance reminder and a thank-you for payment, in Marathi, Hindi and English. Pick the "has khata balance" group and each message carries that farmer's own balance. You decide when it goes, and in Assisted mode you press Send on every message yourself.

Questions about this
Can I enter old dues from my paper khata?
Yes. Enter each customer's opening balance when you start. Ageing counts those dues from your go-live date, since the paper record does not carry bill dates AgroPay can use.
What happens to the khata if I cancel a credit bill?
Cancelling reverses exactly that bill's balance on the khata. It never pays cash out of the till. If the customer had already paid, the amount stays with them as an advance, and you can pay it out with a payment entry.
