GST returns
Your GST return is ready when the month ends
Every bill, purchase and return you make during the month already sits in the right GST table. Pick the month, check the summary, and export the file your accountant uploads.
GSTR-1, table by table
Pick the month and year on the GST Reports screen. AgroPay sorts the month's bills and notes into the sections the GST portal expects:
- B2B: bills to customers with a GSTIN
- B2C small: grouped by place of supply and rate, with returns netted in
- B2C large: invoice-wise inter-state bills to unregistered buyers
- CDNR: credit notes to registered buyers
- HSN summary of sales
- Nil-rated and exempt supplies, split the four ways the return asks for
The JSON does not include CDNUR, the document summary, exports or advances. Credit notes to unregistered buyers are netted into B2C small instead.
GSTR-3B with the credit set off correctly
The GSTR-3B summary shows output CGST, SGST and IGST against the input credit from your purchases, the exempt and nil-rated value, credit notes, and how many cancelled bills were left out. Input credit is set off in the order the law lays down, and any unused credit is shown as carried to the next month.
A filed bill stays where it was filed
AgroPay freezes the customer's GSTIN and place of supply on the bill when it is saved. If you later add a GSTIN to that customer or change their state, bills from earlier months do not move between B2B and B2C. What you filed stays what the report shows.
Files you can hand over
From the GST screen you get the JSON for the offline tool, a CSV of the same figures and a printable page. The Sale Register report exports a real Excel file with every bill and return, B2B or B2C, taxable value, discount, CGST, SGST, IGST, round-off and status, plus a rate summary sheet.
For the year-end, One File for the CA puts sales, purchases, returns, GST, expenses, bank, stock and the trial balance into one workbook with 16 sheets.

The demo counter uses the same GST arithmetic and bill layout as the application.
Questions about this
Does AgroPay file my GST return?
No. AgroPay prepares the return and you, or your accountant, file it. It makes a GSTR-1 JSON file for the GST offline tool (B2B, B2C, B2CL, credit notes, HSN and exempt tables), a GSTR-3B summary with input credit set off in the legal order, and a CSV and printable copy.
AgroPay has no direct connection to the GST portal and does not make e-invoices or e-way bills.
How do I upload the GSTR-1 file?
AgroPay saves a file named like GSTR1_092026.json. You or your accountant import it into the GSTR-1 offline tool published on the GST portal, check it, and upload it to the portal from there. Read our step-by-step guide.
Does AgroPay make e-invoices or e-way bills?
No. AgroPay has no e-invoice (IRN) or e-way bill support. If your turnover makes e-invoicing compulsory for you, talk to us before buying.
