The pesticide register, written as you sell
Every pesticide you buy, sell, return or write off is already recorded with its batch and expiry. When the agriculture officer asks for the register, pick the month and print it.
Two parts: the month and the movement
The first part is a summary per pesticide, with manufacturer, HSN and unit: opening, received, sold or issued, written off and closing stock, with totals. A past month shows stock as it stood at the end of that month, not as it is today.
The second part lists every movement of every batch in the month: received, returned by a customer, sold, returned to the supplier or written off, with the reference number, who it came from or went to, batch, expiry and quantity. Cancelled bills are left out.
Your licence details on top
The register header carries your shop name, address, pesticide licence number, GSTIN and mobile from shop settings. Keep your supplier's pesticide licence number on the supplier record and it appears against every receipt.
Why AgroPay does not print a form number
The register a pesticide dealer must keep is set by the Insecticides Rules and by state practice, and the layout asked for differs from state to state. Printing a form number on a page that does not match your state's form would be worse than printing none. AgroPay gives you the complete record; your Agriculture Department can tell you which format your licence requires.
AgroPay has no separate fertilizer or seed register. Your GST bills, stock report and purchase register hold that information.
Expired stock handled in the same place
Expired batches show up first in Stock Write-off. Writing them off records the quantity, date and reason, and the write-off appears in the register's movement list for that month.

Questions about this
Does AgroPay make the pesticide sale register?
Yes. For any month it prints each pesticide's opening stock, received, sold, written off and closing stock, followed by batch-wise movement: date, bill number, who it was sold to or bought from (with the supplier's licence number), batch, expiry and quantity. You can export it as CSV.
The prescribed register format differs between states, so AgroPay does not claim a form number. Check with your Agriculture Department which format your licence needs.
Does AgroPay replace the government fertilizer PoS machine?
No. AgroPay does not connect to the Aadhaar-based ePoS machine used for subsidised fertilizer sales, and that sale still has to be recorded there. AgroPay keeps the GST bill, stock, khata and accounts for your shop, including the pesticides, seeds and other items the PoS machine does not handle.
