Send a bill to a customer on WhatsApp
Share the printed AgroPay bill as an image in the customer's WhatsApp chat: open the chat, paste with Ctrl+V and press Send. What to do if the paste does not work.
- 1Save the bill
Make the bill in New Sale and press Save and print.
- 2Press Share on WhatsApp
On the saved-bill card press Share on WhatsApp. Enter the customer's number if the bill has none.
- 3Paste the bill
The customer's chat opens in WhatsApp. Click in the message box and press Ctrl+V.
- 4Send
Check the image and press Send.
- Save the bill as usual.
- On the card that appears, press Share on WhatsApp.
- If the bill has no mobile number, AgroPay asks Which number should this go to? The number is saved on that bill, and on the customer’s record if it was blank.
- WhatsApp opens on the customer’s own chat, in your web browser or the WhatsApp app. The bill image is ready to paste.
- Click in the message box, press Ctrl+V, check the image, and press Send.
For your first three shares, a short animation shows exactly where to paste.
If Ctrl+V pastes nothing
Some computers do not allow copying images. AgroPay then saves the bill image instead; attach it in WhatsApp with the paperclip (📎) and choose the saved file.
Good to know
- The image is the real bill, in the language it was printed in.
- AgroPay never sends anything by itself for bills. You see the chat and you press Send.
- WhatsApp needs to be signed in on this computer (WhatsApp Web or the desktop app) and needs internet.
