Terms of Use
Last updated: 30 July 2026
In plain words: you may use AgroPay in your shop for as long as your subscription is active. The software helps you produce correct bills, records and returns — but you remain the business owner, so the accuracy of what you enter and the filing of your returns stay with you. We keep the software working and improving; we cannot be responsible for your business decisions or for data you have not backed up.
1. Agreement
These terms apply when you download, install or use the AgroPay software or this website. By using AgroPay you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the software.
2. Licence
We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use AgroPay to run your own shop's business, for as long as your subscription or trial is active.
- A licence is activated for one computer. If you need AgroPay on another machine, contact us.
- You may not copy, resell, rent, sub-licence or redistribute the software.
- You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to defeat the licensing or activation mechanism.
- The AgroPay name, logo, design and software remain our property. Your business data remains entirely yours.
3. Free trial
AgroPay includes a free trial of 15 days or your first 50 bills, whichever finishes first. The trial gives you the complete application with no payment and no card details. When the trial ends you will need an active subscription to continue creating bills. Everything you entered during the trial stays on your computer and remains available once you subscribe.
4. Subscription and fees
- The first year is ₹10,000. Renewal after the first year is ₹3,500 per year.
- GST is charged in addition where applicable.
- Fees are payable in advance for the period you choose.
- We may change our prices. Any change applies to your next renewal, never to a period you have already paid for, and we will tell you before it takes effect.
- If a subscription lapses, the software stops allowing new bills. Your existing data is not deleted and becomes available again when you renew.
5. Your responsibilities
- Accuracy. AgroPay calculates from what you enter. Correct product details, GST rates, HSN codes, prices, opening balances and licence numbers are your responsibility.
- Compliance and filing. AgroPay prepares GST returns, the pesticide sale register and other records for you, but it does not file anything on your behalf. Filing returns, meeting deadlines and complying with GST law, the Insecticides Act and Rules, and any other law that applies to your shop remain your responsibility. We recommend you have your accountant review your returns.
- Backups. AgroPay provides one-tap and scheduled backups. Actually taking those backups, and keeping a copy somewhere safe, is your responsibility. A failed hard disk, a lost or stolen computer, ransomware or an accidental deletion cannot be recovered by us, because we do not hold a copy of your data.
- Access. Keep your login password private and change it from the default. You are responsible for what is done through your shop's user accounts.
6. Updates
AgroPay updates itself automatically so that you are on the current version, with fixes and improvements included in your subscription. From time to time we may change, add or remove features to improve the product.
7. Support
Support is included with an active subscription and is provided on WhatsApp, phone and email during normal working hours, in English, Marathi, Hindi and Kannada. We will help you set up your shop and move existing data across when you begin.
8. What we do not promise
AgroPay is provided on an "as is" basis. We work hard to make it correct and reliable, but we do not warrant that it will be free of every error or that it will be available without interruption. We are not responsible for any loss of profit, loss of business, loss of data, tax demand, penalty or other indirect loss arising from your use of the software. Where liability cannot be excluded by law, our total liability is limited to the subscription fee you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
9. Ending the agreement
You may stop using AgroPay at any time; simply do not renew. Your data stays on your computer and you can keep, export or delete it as you wish. We may suspend or end a licence if these terms are seriously or repeatedly breached — for example, if the software is copied or the activation mechanism is tampered with.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The current version is always on this page with the date it was last changed. If a change is significant, we will mention it on the website.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Kolhapur, Maharashtra will have jurisdiction over any dispute.
