The short version: AgroPay runs on your own computer. Your bills, customers, stock and accounts are stored on that machine and are never uploaded to us. We cannot see your shop's data, and we do not sell information about you to anyone.

1. Who we are

AgroPay is billing, GST, stock and khata software for agri-input shops in India, published from Kolhapur, Maharashtra. In this policy, "we", "us" and "AgroPay" mean the publisher of the AgroPay software, and "you" means the shop or person using it.

2. Your shop's data stays on your computer

The AgroPay desktop application stores everything you enter — invoices, customers, suppliers, products, stock, payments and your accounts — in a database file on your own Windows PC. It is designed to work fully offline.

• We do not upload, copy, sync or back up your shop's data to our servers or to any cloud service.
• We have no remote access to your database and cannot read your bills or customer details.
• Backups you create are written to a folder you choose on your own computer or drive. Keeping those backups safe is your responsibility.
• If you send us a backup or screenshot yourself while asking for support, we use it only to solve that problem and delete it afterwards.

3. What the app does send

The app makes a small number of outbound requests, none of which contain your business data:

• Automatic updates. AgroPay checks a public software release feed to see whether a newer version exists and, if so, downloads it. This request reveals your IP address and the version you are on, in the same way as visiting any web page.
• Licence activation. When you activate a licence, an identifier derived from your computer's hardware is used so the licence works on that machine and cannot be copied to others. This identifier is not a name, phone number or location, and it does not tell us anything about your business.

4. This website

agropaysoftware.com uses Google Analytics to count visits and understand which pages are useful. This places cookies in your browser and records ordinary technical information such as your approximate region, device type, browser and the pages you viewed. It does not identify you personally, and we do not combine it with anything else.

You can block these cookies in your browser settings, or use your browser's private mode, and the site will still work normally.

The site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which involves a request to Google's servers. No other third-party trackers, advertising pixels or social media scripts are used.

5. When you contact us

If you message us on WhatsApp, call us, or email us, we receive whatever you send — typically your name, phone number or email address, your shop's name, and what you are asking about. We keep this only to answer you and to provide support afterwards. We do not add you to marketing lists you did not ask for, and we do not sell or rent your contact details.

6. Payments

We do not collect or store card numbers, UPI PINs, bank details or any other payment credentials on this website or inside the app. Where a payment is made, it is handled directly by the payment provider or arranged with you individually.

7. How long we keep things

Support conversations and enquiry messages are kept for as long as we may reasonably need them to support you, and are deleted when they are no longer needed. Website analytics are retained according to Google Analytics' own retention settings. Your shop's data is not held by us at all, so there is nothing for us to delete — it stays on, and is removed from, your own computer.

8. Your choices

• Ask us what enquiry or support information we hold about you, and ask us to delete it.
• Ask us to stop contacting you.
• Block analytics cookies in your browser.
• Remove your shop's data at any time by deleting it from your own computer.

To make any of these requests, contact us using the details below. We will respond within a reasonable time.

9. Children

AgroPay is business software intended for shop owners and their staff. It is not directed at children.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Significant changes will also be mentioned on the website.
